Wells, Septics, Propane & Water Interests in Contracts

Description

Students will gain knowledge in key areas related to rural property utilities and water systems, including:

• Differences between exempt and non-exempt wells, well types, locating well information, handling well permit transfers, creating contract contingencies, and addressing inspection issues.
• Advising clients on propane systems, including how to properly address propane in contracts and settlement statements.
• Understanding septic systems, applicable regulations, and how to obtain inspection information.
• Learning about water rights, the differences among water-related rights, and ensuring proper transfer of rights during closing.
