Pitfalls of Property Management(IN PERSON)

Description

Many real estate agents are tempted to dip their toes into property management, either as

an alternative revenue stream or to stay in touch with a potential listing. This class presents

agents with the myriad laws governing what landlords can and can’t do. What needs to be

in a lease? When can you refuse to renew a lease? How does a landlord properly keep a

security deposit? For each possible violation, the instructor will detail the statutory

penalties. The class demonstrates how an agent’s property manager side hustle can

quickly become a financial and legal black hole.
