Relocating from the UK to the USA in 2007 as a trailing spouse, my husband and I made the move with minimal corporate support, only receiving help with the visa and his flight costs. Our arrival in Colorado coincided with the worst snowstorm the state had seen in 50 years, but after five days, the skies cleared, revealing the majestic Colorado mountains in all their glory – it was love at first sight!

Once settled into American life, I became known as “Yahoo Sue” by my brokers, as I took charge of all the internet referrals that came into the office. I obtained my Broker license in 2009, followed by certifications including Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Global Destination Specialist (GDS), and, most recently, Military Relocation Professional (MRP). Since my move in 2007, I’ve witnessed the tremendous growth of Denver & Colorado Springs and its surrounding metro area, evolving from a slower-paced city to one of the fastest-growing in the country. My deep familiarity with the region, combined with my own experience as a newcomer, fuels my passion to make this place feel like home for others.

Before entering the real estate field, I spent over 10 years working in home security as a company director and five years in residential landscaping in the UK. This background laid a strong foundation for my transition into the world of home sales and relocation. With extensive experience in sales, marketing, and management, I built a real estate business focused primarily on relocation clients, with personal referrals and positive feedback from third-party Relocation Management Companies also contributing to my success. As a high-touch broker, I’m known for my in-depth market knowledge and unwavering dedication to my clients. My top priority is always to listen to my clients’ needs and ensure we achieve the best possible outcome in every transaction.

When I’m not helping my clients with their real estate needs, I enjoy playing Ten Pin Bowling (I was a county team member in the UK), spending time with my beloved cats (three of which are Bengals), and exploring the beautiful Colorado countryside. I’ve been happily married to Garry for more years than I can count, and I’m a twin – though I always joke that my sister, Jill, is the bossy one!
